A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder in Fife.
Connor Goodfellow, 22, from Perth, was arrested after an incident at Woodend Community Woodland near Cowdenbeath on Sunday - after a 23-year-old woman was injured.
He appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today to face two charges.
One involves an allegation of assault to injury and danger of life, and the second a charge of assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder.
Goodfellow made no plea and was remanded in custody, while the case was committed for further examination.
