Man, 20, dies after being found injured on Rosyth street

A 20 year old man's died after being found on a street in Rosyth this morning (February 2).

Police initially responded to a call about a man being found injured on King’s Road at Albert Street at 5.45am.

His death's being treated as unexplained but police say there's no suspicious circumstances.

Both streets were closed and taped off while police and paramedics responded to the scene and worked at the scene. Both have now reopened.

It's not known how the man became injured.

In a statement Police Scotland says: "Officers were called to concern for a man around 5.45am.

"Emergency services attended and the 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin are aware.

"His death is being treated as unexplained however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.

"Enquiries are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
