Macintosh: 'Labour Must Be Clearly Anti Austerity'

Ken Macintosh MSP is setting out his policy on austerity in Fife today

Scottish Labour needs to be 'clearly anti austerity' in order to succeed in Scotland.

That is the call from Scottish leadership candidate Ken Macintosh ahead of a visit to Fife. Today, he is setting out his vision for Scottish economic policy at a care home in Kirkcaldy.

Mr Macintosh is challenging Conservative and SNP policies on austerity, and wants Labour's position on the issue to be absolutely clear

He told Kingdom FM News that the Scottish Nationalists aren't doing enough to tackle financial inequalities:

He is in contention with Lothians MSP Kezia Dugdale, who says under her leadership the Labour party will "always stand up for those who have been left behind by this uncaring Tory Government".
