Lobbyists On Board With Fife Rail Campaigners

Campaigners seeking the re-opening of the Thornton to Leven train line have joined forced with a national lobbying firm.

The Levenmouth Rail Campaign has joined forces with Transform Scotland, who they hope will spread their message further than the Fife area. At 37,000 people, Levenmouth is the largest-populated area in Scotland without a rail link.

Organisers of the campaign say they are at "a crucial stage" ahead of the publication of a Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance (STAG) report, investigating the viability of reinstating the line.
