LISTEN: Raith Rovers launch crowdfunder amid coronavirus outbreak

Raith Rovers have started a £25,000 crowdfunding campaign, amid the coronavirus outbreak.

It's in a bid to keep the Stark's Park club going financially, and as of 9:30am this morning, more than £8,000 has been raised.

Fans have been donating cash to offer their support during this difficult time.

Last Friday, the SPFL announced professional football matches in Scotland were suspended until further notice.

The Kirkcaldy side's Challenge Cup final, which was scheduled to take place a week this Saturday on the 28 March, has been postponed.

Supporter-Director Andy Mill says the shutdown in football action means nearly all of the club's sources of income have come to a halt for the time being.
