A Fife lifeboat station is being recognised in Parliament for reaching a major milestone.
RNLI Kinghorn is to be commended by local MSP David Torrance on reaching its 50th anniversary.
Since 1965 crews have been called out on well over a thousand occasions, and attend between 40 and 50 incidents a year.
The station is one of the busiest in country due to being located in the Firth of Forth.
