Less Scots 'Stone Broke'

Increasing numbers of us are beginning to save each month.

Lloyds Bank says almost nine in ten households now hold some form of savings, with the average amount in the bank now resting at £6,500.

Revised ISA limits recently came into effect, allowing tax free savings of up to £15,000, and greater flexibility over transferring cash to and from ISA accounts.
