Labour Fundraising Drive

Alex Rowley MSP

Alex Rowley has launched a fundraising drive in a bid to become Scottish Labour's deputy leader.

The Cowdenbeath MSP says his party must put forward a progressive vision and policy agenda that represents Scottish people.

He's also told supporters that the natural track of devolution has stalled in his opinion.

The politician has also set out his strategy for success in Scotland saying he wants to build upon education and training to deliver a strong skilled workforce.

Mr Rowley is up against MSP Richard Baker and Glasgow City Council leader Gordon Matheson for the deputy position.
