Kirkcaldy's ASDA to close tonight for restocking

The 24-hour ASDA superstore in Kirkcaldy will close tonight to allow staff to restock shelves and clean amidst the coronavirus panic.

'Panic buying' because of the Covid-19 outbreak is causing the supermarket to close between midnight and 6am tomorrow morning.

Shelves have been empty regularly since the virus came to Fife, despite restocking efforts from ASDA staff.

The store will return to 24-hour service tomorrow.
