Kirkcaldy High School is following Queen Anne High School's lead in closing the school for younger pupils.
KHS students in S1 and S2 will remain at home for tomorrow and Friday due to coronavirus-related staff shortages.
QAHS pupils are being asked to stay at home on a rota because of similar staff shortages.
Today S3 students from the Dunfermline school will stay at home, tomorrow it will be S1 and on Friday S2 students will be affected.
Next week S3 will miss Monday and Wednesday, S1 will miss Tuesday and Friday and S2 will miss Wednesday.
