Kirkcaldy Economy Fears

There's a warning Kirkcaldy's economy will be hard hit if the Tesco store closes next month.

The Taxi Association says the rank outside the supermarket generates £1.5 million annually.

50 workers are also employed there.

The supermarket is pushing ahead with the planned closure, despite a high profile public campaign to save it.

189 jobs could go on 4th April.

Kirkcaldy MSP David Torrance has written to ASDA, NHS Fife, Sainsburys and Morrisons in the hope of finding an alternative solution.
