Investigation Into Sexual Assaults

Police release an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with two incidents in St Andrews.

Police in Fife have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to trace in connection with two sexual assaults in St Andrews.

A 27-year-old woman was the victim of a serious sexual assault in the early hours of Wednesday 9th April and an 18-year-old woman was indecently assaulted on Thursday 10th April while walking in the University grounds.

Detective Chief Inspector Pauline McCallum from Police Scotland: "We wish to speak to the man pictured in the images in connection with our inquiries, and anyone who can assist us in tracing him is asked to come forward.  

"Similarly, we would ask the man himself to get in touch and help with our investigation."
