Huge number of Fife schools affected by wintry weather

Dozens of schools in Fife have been forced to shut today as a result of wintry weather conditions.

Fife Council only updated its list of closures at about 9.15am today, having previously only said Balmerino Primary and Nursery were shut.

Schools are only open to the children of key workers at present, but many of them now face having to find alternative arrangements.
