Green Light For Dalgety Bay Retail Complex

After public and industrial consultation, Fife Council have approved plans for the new commercial development.

Fife Council have approved plans for a 4-acre commercial development in Dalgety Bay.

The site will feature a new 16,850 square foot Aldi foodstore, a family pub/restaurant and a drive-thru coffee shop as well as an additional commercial unit.

It is hoped that the development will trigger the regeneration of the Donibristle Industrial Estate and the surrounding area as well as provide a number of employment opportunities.

SMG director William McAlister said that "the scheme would make a significant contribution to the area, providing both much needed facilities and a significant number of jobs."
