Good News For Gamers In Scotland

Google gets set to ban apps from saying they're 'free' when they have hidden costs.

Many have complained at the high amounts spent in some games where you have to make purchases as part of the challenge. 

The EU's put forward a voluntary code for tech firms to follow. 

The changes will be completed for all Android devices by the end of this month, with pressure on Apple to follow suit. 

Catherine Stihler, the Fife-based Labour MEP, says it'll make smartphone and tablet applications fairer and safer to use.
