Michael McEwan and Tom Lovering work for Golf magazine Bunkered - the a're raising money for Yorkhill hospital in Glasgow. The epic match at Kingsbarns Golf Links should take around 18 hours - they'll walk 23 miles in the process.

Kirsten Sinclair, head of fundraising, Yorkhill Children’s Charity, said:

“We are delighted that Tom and Michael are taking on this challenge to raise funds for Yorkhill Children's Charity. Their effort comes just after our big move to the new Royal Hospital for Sick Children, where we have already funded more than £5m in equipment and service delivery.”

The duo will be joined by two different guests for each of their five full rounds, as they attempt to raise thousands of pounds. Donations of £10 or more will be entered into a competition where entrants can guess how many shots in total it will take the pair to complete the 100 holes.

Michael plays off 15, while Tom plays off 8.
