Fundraiser for Rape Crisis Scotland set up by Raith Rovers fan raises more than £10,000

An online fundraiser for Rape Crisis Scotland that was set up by a Raith Rovers fan has raised more than £10,000.

It was started by Martin Glass after the Kirkcaldy club signed David Goodwillie.

Hundreds of people have made donations through the fundraiser on the JustGiving website, which was only launched yesterday.

The club said in a statement last night that the decision to sign Goodwillie was a "football related decision", but the Championship side has been heavily criticised by supporters and others since the transfer was announced on Monday evening.
