Fresh Appeal For Missing Man

Nearly a year after a Kirkcaldy man disappeard, police are making a fresh appeal for information.

Sandy Clarke was last seen walking out of the Victoria Hospital in the early hours of 4th June 2013.

He was a carrying two Sports Direct bags filled with clothing.

The 38-year-old hasn't been in touch with his family since, but police believe he is still alive.

Sandy has a history of working with travelling shows around Scotland and officers want to know if anyone has seen him.

He's described as 5ft 10in tall, slim or average build, short slightly receding brown hair and brown/green eyes.

He has tattoos on both arms and a tattoo on his neck of a girl’s name.

Inspector Alan Seath from Police Scotland said: 

"All lines of enquiries regarding homeless accommodations, missing persons organisations and charities have been exhausted, as has information provided by the public.

"Our thoughts are with the family of Sandy at this time and we will continue to interact with them to ensure they are aware of our efforts and of any developments.

"We continue to appeal to anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Sandy to come forward and contact Police Scotland on 101 or, alternatively, the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
