Free School Meals Uptake Doubles

Since free meals given to Primary 1-3 last year

Twice as many primary school children are receiving free school meals.

A year after the policy was introduced - nearly 259,000 Primary 1 to 3 pupils are registered. 

New government figures show this could save families £380 pounds per child a year.
