Fox Signs For Flyers

It's been confirmed Fife Flyers have added Canadian Justin Fox to their squad.

The 28-year-old forward's been signed from East Coast hockey League side Quad City Mallards. He played 71 games for the club last season, scoring 23 goals and 35 assists.

Fox said: “I am extremely excited to be a part of the Fife Flyers organisation. I have heard nothing but great things about the town and the fans. I can't wait to get to Kirkcaldy and get things started. I’m looking forward to the season ahead.”

Associate coach Danny Stewart added “We are excited to get Justin on board after a breakout season for him last year for the Quad City Mallards.”

“He brings a lot of energy to the wing. A guy willing to get to dirty areas in the same fashion as a Kris Hogg and Jordan Fulton style of play. He brings us a good combination of physicality and skill and will be in our top 6 guys to start the year.”
