A former Scottish Labour party chairman has said he will vote for independence.
Bob Thomson, a party member for over 50 years, declared his support for a separate Scotland saying he was fed up of the negative tactics of unionist campaign.
He says shadow chancellor Ed Balls' joining George Osbourne's intervention on the currency union was a defining factor in his decision.
