Foodbank Demand Rockets Across Scotland

Increasing numbers of Scots are turning to foodbanks for help.

The rise in the number of people using Scotland's foodbanks is being placed under the spotlight at Holyrood.

It comes as several food banks in Fife and in the West of Scotland report running out of food.

One facility has seen a 50% increase in the number of people using it.

Jamie Livingstone from Oxfam Scotland says it casts doubt on claims that the UK economy is growing at its fastest rate in six years.
