Flyers Add Goalie To Roster

David Brown

Goaltender David Brown joins Fife Flyers as a replacement for former goalie Kevin Regan who has now retired.

The 30-year-old Canadian played for play off semi-finalists the Hull Singrays last season. Brown has a wealth of experience having played in both the AHL and CHL before joining the Stingrays last season in the EIHL and said: "I am very excited to be joining the Fife Flyers this season.”

“It is an absolute honor to be able to become a part of such a storied program that is so rich in hockey heritage as the Flyers.”

“I have heard nothing but great things about the organisation, the city and especially the incredible support of the fan base.”

“I am looking forward to my arrival in Fife and starting the season as I expect big things from our team this year!"

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added “All of last season Danny and myself were both intrigued by David.”

“He faced a lot of rubber on a consistent basis and helped carry a team, that really struggled with key injuries for the majority of the regular season, to a respectable finish in the league and right into the play off finals.”

“I feel that by putting together a strong and healthy squad in front of David this year we will reap the benefits. He knows the league, is driven to succeed and we have ourselves a guy who is ready to compete for us night in night out.”
