Flu Campaign Aimed At Youngsters

Five thousand children every year in Scotland end up in hospital with flu or its complications.

A nasal spray is to be made available to children in a bid to prevent flu.

From this autumn, every child aged between 2 and 11 will be eligible.

Research shows that kids are two to three times more likely to fall ill with flu than adults.

Dr Nicola Steedman says it's one of the most important preventative measures that can be undertaken.
