Indyref: First Minister Will Not Resign

Alex Salmond says he will serve out his term as First Minister if Scots vote against independence in two weeks time.

Polls suggest the Better Together campaign is still in the lead but the gap is closing.

A YouGov survey released yesterday showed there's just 6% between the 'yes' and 'no' camps.

The First Minister has been speaking exclusively to Kingdom FM News:

Alex Salmond says the crunch vote on 18th September is not about him and he insists the SNP will continue if Scots vote 'no':

Meanwhile, the First Minister and his deputy are targetting Labour voters today.

Nicola Sturgeon is in West Lothan talking to voters, whilst Alex Salmond is in the Borders and Ayrshire to promote independence.

The SNP claims many 'no' voters are reconsidering because of constant negativity from Westminster.

Better Together campaigners say the brightest future for Scotland is to remain in the UK.
