A takeaway delivery app in Fife says despite local food outlets being affected by the ongoing cost of living crisis, it's aiming to grow to help local firms.

Dunfermline Eats was founded by Michael McDade and Bilal Shahid during the coronavirus pandemic.

It charges 7.5% flat commission, which is said to be below the industry average.

The app also helps to showcase local food businesses and wants to work with companies in the area to open up quick access to a variety of everyday products.

Michael has been telling Kingdom FM that he got inspiration for the app from a similar one running in a town in Cumbria:
