A Fife mother is calling for a routine screening for every new-born baby in hospital.
When Lyndsey Fraser gave birth to Evie, doctors screened her using a simple procedure known as Pulse Oximetry.
NHS Fife was the first board in Scotland to screen all newborns with the test.
It detected a heart defect in the baby, who was then treated at the Sick Kids Hospital at Yorkhill.
