Fife Mother To Tackle Knife Crime

Thousands support Amanda Scott's Facebook group 'No Knives in Fife'

A Fife mother-of-three has seen her social media campaign to highlight knife crime attract nearly 3, 000 followers in just ten days.

Amanda Scott, from Kennoway, set up the Facebook group 'No Knives in Fife' after the death of 17-year-old Conor Cleaves in Methilhill earlier this month.

The 32-year-old says the idea came to her after she laid flowers at Simon Crescent, where the teenager died.

Amanda tells us she's delighted with the response so far.
