Committee meetings at Fife Council will be suspended from tomorrow, in response to the government's guidelines on the coronavirus outbreak.
The suspension will last until the end of April.
Councillors have been asked to consider cancelling surgeries and unnecessary appointments with constituents.
That's unless technology can be used by elected members to communicate with anyone needing support with an issue.
As a result of the move made by the local authority, broadcasts of meetings will not be available or take place.
