Fife College to suspend face to face teaching to minimise coronavirus spread

Fife College says face-to-face teaching will be suspended from tonight to minimise the spread of coronavirus.

It's after a temporary suspension of teaching was implemented on Monday.

The latest decision, which comes into force from 9pm this evening, has been made after the government's most recent guidelines were revealed.

But the college's buildings will stay open until this Friday at 6pm to allow students to access advice and resources before remote teaching fully comes into effect.

College bosses said they are keen to do everything possible to address people's concerns.

In an update on its website, Fife College said: "Some students will also be involved in prelims etc over the next couple of days which will involve attending campus.

"If that applies to you, your lecturer/named contact will have been in touch with you already to confirm the specific arrangements."
