Fife College to Announce Closure Due to Coronavirus

The closure of Fife College will be announced later today to avoid the spread of Covid-19.

Students were warned about the impending campus closure by Principal Hugh Hall in an email in the early hours of this morning.

Bosses will announce when the college will close, and for how long, this afternoon.

In his email, Mr Hall said: "We have been working with other colleges across Scotland over the weekend in developing plans for the temporary closure.

"We will be deciding later today the precise timing of the closure and finalising arrangements to minimise the impact on you"

A Fife College statement said: "Fife College is well advanced in its preparations. 

"Our curriculum team will be in contact with students over the coming days to provide subject-specific information about the alternative learning arrangements being put in place."
