Fife boy, 10, named as loch victim

Police have named a 10-year-old boy who died after getting into difficulty in a Scottish loch.

Michael Heeps, from High Valleyfield, died at Loch Lubnaig near Callander yesterday evening.

His family paid tribute to him, saying he was a "much-loved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin".

Police say his death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are continuing.
