Fears Scots Could Miss Out Over GM Crops

It's claimed Scotland's farms could fall behind England if ministers don't change their opposition to genetically modified produce.

Currently the Scottish Government supports testing of GM, but not at farm level. 

Following a change in EU law, it'll now be easier for the UK Government to allow trials on crops down south. 

Conservative MEP, Ian Duncan, says it'll eventually lower costs for farmers there, putting producers here at a disadvantage:
