Fears For Scottish Fishermen

MEP says the Russian import ban is impacting on fisherman in Scotland.

There are calls for more to be done for Scottish fishermen hit by a Russian import ban. 

Crews have been raising concerns sanctions will leave them with tonnes of fish they can no longer sell. 

Ian Duncan, Conservative MEP for Scotland, wants the European Union to look at setting up a task force to find new markets for fleets. 

He says the Fisheries Commissioner has begun to take steps to replace a market worth around a quarter of the Scottish industry total.
