The family of 17-year-old Joseph Willcocks, who died on the railway in Dunfermline last Wednesday, have paid tribute to the teenager.

They have described him as a "wonderful, funny, and thoughtful" person.

The British Transport Police say that the incident isn't being treated as suspicious.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

The family have made a statement.

It reads: "On Wednesday 3rd November 2021 our lives changed forever.

"Our precious son and twin brother was taken from us but he will live in our hearts forever.

"Thank you to everyone who has paid tribute to Joseph. Thank you for the beautiful flowers and cards with comforting words.

"We will never forget our wonderful, funny and thoughtful boy.

"A light has gone out in our lives and he will always be our hero."
