Emergency services are at the beach in Kirkcaldy after a man's body was found.
Police say they were informed early this morning about the discovery.
Inquiries are taking place to establish the full circumstances.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: "Around 7am on Wednesday, 14 July, police received a report of the body of a man found on the beach at Kirkcaldy.
"Emergency services are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
