A pensioner who was found seriously injured in her Edinburgh home has died.
Eleanor Whitelaw has spent the last two weeks in hospital, but died last night.
Yesterday, Robert Buczek was charged with attempted murder and assault to severe injury and danger of life when he appeared in court.
The 23-year old made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
