Part of Edinburgh Airport had to be evacuated this morning after a "suspicious object" was found inside the building.
Police Scotland said the top floor of the terminal was cleared "as a precaution".
Crowds were left standing outside the building while officers investigated the incident.
Airport bosses later confirmed it had been a false alarm, and thanked customers for their patience.
