East Fife Takeover

East Fife's board of directors are close to buying out the club's majority shareholder.

Jim Stevenson, Dave Marshall, John Barclay and John Donaldson have agreed terms with current owner Lorraine Johnston Twigg.

The Methil club is said to be valued at around £380, 000, which initially put off a different bid by the East Fife Supporter's Society.

Owner Lorraine Twigg said: "The heads of terms for the purchase of my shares in East Fife Football Club on behalf of the four Directors are with my solicitors.  The deal is acceptable subject to contract."

A public meeting will be held at Bayview Stadium on Monday.
