Dugdale: Labour Need To Attract People My Age

Kezia Dugdale launches her bid for the leadership of Scottish Labour later.

The Lothians MSP was deputy under Jim Murphy as the party lost 40 of 41 seats in May's general election, and led the party at Holyrood taking on Nicola Sturgeon at First Minister's Questions in the MP's absence.

She will launch her campaign at the Grassmarket Community Project in Edinburgh, with an onstage interview with Observer journalist and broadcaster Kevin McKenna and a Q&A session. Ms Dugdale has received support from 30 parliamentarians, including deputy candidates Alex Rowley and Richard Baker.

The 33 year old ran her rival Ken Macintosh's campaign for leadership in 2011, when he lost to Johann Lamont.
