A driver who was making his way home to Kirkcaldy has had his vehicle seized by police in Cumbria.
The car had only just been purchased in Nottingham in the East Midlands.
The driver didn't purchase insurance and the vehicle wasn't taxed either.
Officers Tweeted a picture of the seized car at a service stop just off the M6 motorway at around half past midnight this morning.
The picture shows the seized vehicle in a car park, with a police car in front of it.
