Cowdenbeath manager Jimmy Nicholl has offered his resignation three times this season.
It comes after the Blue Brazil were beaten 10-0 by Hearts at Tynecastle, the club's joint worst ever result.
The 58-year-old also tried to step down after back to back 5-0 defeats by Hibernian and Queen of the South, and the 2-1 loss to Alloa that put them back into the relegation playoff spot.
He says it's the right thing to do when players don't seem to respond to a manager's methods:
