Concern Growing For Missing Holly

Police in Fife say they're increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing teenage girl from Dunfermline.

Holly Sinclair, who's 15, was last seen walking home after getting off a bus near the Halbeath Campus of Fife College at around 5.50pm last night .

When she did not return to her home in Pleasance Road Police Scotland was contacted.

Officers say Holly, who goes to Beath High, has not left home in this manner before and this behaviour is believed to be out of character.

She is white, of medium build, with dark blonde shoulder length straight hair and blue-green eyes and wears glasses with purple frames.

Holly is a pupil at Beath High School and may also have been wearing her school uniform including a grey hoodie with the Beath High School emblem on the front and "Holly" on the back.  She may have changed clothing since she was last seen.

Chief Inspector Steven Hamilton said:  "We are growing increasingly concerned about Holly's welfare and it is essential that we trace her as soon as possible.

"Officers are currently conducting various lines of enquiry to trace Holly.

"Anyone with information regarding Holly's whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.

"We would also make a special appeal to Holly's friends and schoolmates at Beath High School - if you know where Holly is, or have any information that can help us, please tell either your parents or a police officer what you know.

"You will not be in trouble and it will help us bring Holly home safe and well."

Those with information should contact Police Scotland immediately on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
