Christmas 'without the trimmings'

One in five Scots will not be able to afford a Christmas tree this year, according to a survey.

And energyhelpline.com says nearly half of us are being forced to cut back on festive spending, because of rising household bills and the cost of living.

Mark Todd's a co-founder of the price comparison website, and tells us it looks like being an 'austerity Christmas' for many:
