Campaign To Stop Litter Dropping

Scots encouraged to do the right thing with their waste.

A national campaign's being launched to stop Scots blighting the country with litter.

Around 250 million pieces of rubbish are dropped across the country every year, costing taxpayers £78 million.

The Scottish government's new drive is being highlighted by a two metre tall replica of the Scott monument made entirely from waste.

Mark Bevan from Keep Scotland Beautiful says Scots need to stop littering as soon as possible.
