Burst Water Main

Scottish Water customers in the east of Fife could experience a loss of normal water supply this morning.

The firm says it's because of a burst water main in Pittenweem.

Households in Pittenweem,  Elie, St Monans, Abercrombie, Kilconquhar, Earlsferry and Colinsburgh areas may experience problems.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: "Engineers are currently working to fix the problem and hope to maintain normal supplies or restore normal supplies as quickly as possible and repair the burst.

"We apologise for any inconvenience to affected customers and thank them for their patience and understanding."
