A body has been found by officers searching for a missing Fife woman.
Kathleen Ritchie, 35, was last seen on Friday May 21 at a Tesco store at the Glenwood Centre in Glenrothes.
Police have confirmed a body of a woman has been found near a footpath on Ivanhoe Drive at around 8:05pm on Sunday evening.
While she has not been formally identified, officers said the family of Kathleen Ritchie have been made aware.
The death is currently being treated as suspicious but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
