A man is expected to appear in Court shortly in connection with an attack in Cupar.
It's alleged a 37-year old woman was assaulted in Hill Crescent on Saturday 20th Spetember.
Police have confirmed that an 18-year old man has been arrested and charged.
Detective Sergeant Paul Dick said:
"I would like to thank the members of the public who provided information that led to this arrest. Crimes of this nature remain rare in Fife, however, when they do occur we will respond accordingly to bring anyone found to be responsible to justice."
