A man's due in court later charged with an armed robbery in Kirkcaldy.
The 35-year-old allegedly brandished a weapon at Malkhas Minimarket, in Templehall last Sunday and stole a three figure sum of money.
Detective Sergeant Craig Fraser, from Kirkcaldy CID, said: “Following extensive investigations into the robbery at a shop in Birnam Road, Kirkcaldy, last Sunday, a 35-year-old man has now been arrested and is to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
"I would like to thank the public for their assistance and reassure our communities that such behaviour will not be tolerated.”
