Appeal To Trace Missing Man

Police are appealing for information to help trace a 31-year-old man reported missing from the Kirkcaldy area.

George Stewart was last seen at Victoria Hospital yesterday at around 9.30am, but has not been in contact with family or friends since.  

Officers now growing increasingly concerned for George's welfare, and are urging those in the town and around Leven and its surrounding villages to check sheds and outhouses.

Mr Stewart went missing two weeks ago after attending a hospital near Springfield, and was traced in Levenmouth two days later.

George is around five foot eight, slim with strawberry blond or very fair hair which is longer on top, and he is believed to be wearing a grey hooded top, dark blue jeans, and grey trainers.

Inspector Stephen Kay said:  “We are growing increasingly concerned for George’s welfare and are appealing to the public for any information regarding his whereabouts.

"George has recently been ill and may appear confused, and it is essential that we trace him as soon as possible."
